Thought for 12.16.09
God did not intend the church to be the Busybody of Christ.
I find it ironic that as we're being told in church to slow down and practice patience during Advent, many of us clergy types have scheduled all kinds of extra events (Sunday evening services, Wednesday evening events, etc.) that make everybody's calendars that much more full and hectic.
