BSG Convocation 2010
Lifting our eyes to the hills, and being bound in Christ! Alleluia!
I fell in love with this version of St Patrick's Breastplate when I saw it as the soundtrack to this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ql4ynNN5_4k&feature=player_embedded
It is the ordination of 50 deacons of the Legionaries for Christ at St Paul's Outside the Walls on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
It is such a beautiful, but ornately ostentatious church. Can you imagine the power bill just to light this one service so brightly?!?
Hopefully this great, but extremely conservative order will rise above the sickness and sinfulness of its Mexican founder!
There is also this lovely video of this version of the Breastplate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJx_Lu4PymE
