Aha, another "Call The Midwife" fan! ;-) I keep wondering about dear Sr Bernadette: she's clearly struggling w/ her vocation (celibacy-for-Jesus, or the handsome doctor? And is the doctor married already?)
ReplyDeleteLike the icon very much, Tobias. Mother Harriet, and all holy religious, pray for us!
Indeed, JCF, I am a big fan of CtM. I think it to be head and shoulders above Downton Abbey (though I enjoy that as a kind of guilty pleasure.) But CtM is so much more than a mere soap opera; and after all, how often do you get to see a story about Anglican nuns!
ReplyDeleteAs to plot, I think the doctor may be a widower. His relationship with his son has been featured in a few of the episodes.
