Beautiful! That's one of my favorite botanical gardens, but I haven't been there in years and years.

Funny thing is, all of those items, especially the Bougainvillea in the last photo, grow wild where I live. Kind of odd thinking that once I could only find them in green houses at gardens.

I was born in the BX!

Anyway, these are gorgeous photos. That first one just about stopped my heart from beating... in an only momentary and entirely good way.

Thank you, this is tonic to my soul today Tobias.

Thanks, Mark. Fran, that just goes to show that good things grow in the Bronx!
That first picture is called "Georgia (O'Keefe) Eats Her Heart Out" ;-)

Out here in the middle of nowhere we have friends who operate an enormous greenhouse specializing in exotic orchids, which, of course, they sell to the wholesale trade. Now and then we go out just to visit and stand in stunned silence at the variety and beauty of thousands of orchids.

Beautiful and what a great title for the first picture, which is a show-stopper. I will keep recalling it all day today. Thank you.

Lovely flowers, Tobias. I say flowers instead of orchids because the last one looks like bougainvillea. They grow in the south very well and love sun. Some grow out here in California at least as far north as the Bay Area. Thanks.

Oh, and now I see that Mark J. has identified it too. Note to self...read comments before commenting! :-)
